Some pages from my sketch book:

Thor's Hammer from yesterday

Buddha sketch for the paper mache wall hanging/mask i'm making this afternoon. He looks maori.

Seth's Dragon: Basic Details- Horns, Teeth, Eye

Seth's Dragon: Close up of scales

Seth's Dragon: Scales and Shading

Seth's Dragon: Done

The dragon wasn't planned, I just had the idea of making scales after playing with the bucket of paper pulp I started to make last night. I'm not sure if i want to make him as a sculpture or as a 3d wall hanging like Buddha is going to be.

Paper Mache time!

in the hall of the slain

i was going to use the clay i got for Easter for the necklace i've been designing for my aunt Susan... But Vikings are running rampant through my imagination and decided instead to make a clay wall hanging for one of my best mates Bjorn (Ben).

i sketched a few designs and threw caution to the wind... and this is the result.
(achtung : Camera is still on a bender so these photos are taken with the shitty phone camera)

Just adding details. Axe, Shield and Helmet.

Close up of Shield and Axe

Manly Beard

Odin's rune

Drying

Once its dry, I'm going to paint it and add some more runes to the shield and a little hook to the back so it can be hung.

"They bid me to take my place amongst them in the halls of Valhalla, where the dead shall live on forever"
